Great song! Kind of reminds me of Can’t Win but I’m real into it

 

I love his delivery on the verses, it feels way looser than the rest of their discog. And the bridge/outro is sooo great

 

The solo in this song is so triumphant and wonderful and is simultaneously very Pup and something I’ve never heard from them before.

 

In the Pup-zine Steve said he was going for something that wasn’t super flashy and paired well with the motifed riff in the song and I think he nailed it.

 

Gimme the pre order already

 

Tour dates also popped up in Boise (6/27) and Pittsburgh (4/30). Probably gonna have multiple legs.

Ah dammit, can’t make the UK tour. Closest for me is Leeds but it’s my brother’s wedding in Scotland on the Friday so travelling up on the Thursday. Bizarrely the wedding isn’t too far from Glasgow where they are playing that night. Families, eh?

 

Going to use this as my excuse to finally get into Ratboys.
