its at the garrison. Its a free show but requires RVSP which was only open for a bit this morning if you were on their email list. Don't think its possible to get onto the list now
Bare Hands is just excellent. Had that chorus and the little twinkly riff in Closure stuck in my head all day
Wow. Can't even single anything out as it all just works so well as an album. TDIO one of my favourite albums of the decade but this already feels like a really significant step forward. Best band alive right now don't @ me
I'm getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow lol. Just gonna be in bed, nearly comatose, blasting PUP for two days straight.
Still think See You At Your Funeral is my fave non-single, it’s such a fun song and why I love PUP so much
What time is the show starting tonight? They're streaming it and I wanna work out time zone difference
PUP makes me feel as excited as I got as a teenager when I was discovering my favourite bands. It takes a lot to make me this giddy but they do it every time. This album is terrific. This band is amazing. I'm glad that I listened to "Full Blown Meltdown" before I got my wisdom teeth out because I was headbanging and bed moshing the entire song.
I find it absolutely mindboggling that a song like Kids is probably one of the worse songs on the album when it's so good
I'm gonna go a little against the tide and say I'm not in love with the album (yet?). I think Kids, Free at Last and Sibling Rivalry are all fantastic PUP bangers. See You at Your Funeral for me comes out way too poppy, the chorus sounds like OK GO (except more mean-spirited). I like Closure and really like Bare Hands, Bloody Mary sounds kinda like filler. Yet to be struck by City.
"See You At Your Funeral" is a stand out to me, and that's only partially because I see past shitty emotions that I've felt so clearly in the lyrics that it's kind of uncomfortable.
Mary Kate is probably the only song I don't care for on this album so far after repeated listens. Everything else is absolutely stellar
See You at Your Funeral and Bloody Mary are my favorite non-singles so far but goddamn, this entire album is so good
