Gotcha. Didn't remember. Though 5th is a lot different than 47th.

 

Yeah, that was the first high placement I've seen of Julien Baker on any list.

Also, I love seeing Sampha on a bunch of these lists. Process is incredible.

 

I found very little that I love under the rock music umbrella this year. Radio, indie, whatever rock music... definitely less albums I liked this year than in the past. And WAY less new bands that have emerged that I like. Maybe I need to listen through some key songs in the best indie/rock/whatever lists that are out there
