Yeah, I've actually heard or heard of like 35 on there this year. I've also been following them closer this year, but stuff like SZA and Playboi Carti surprised me being on there.

really can't get into the julie byrne record. have tried it a bunch, but i lose attention about four songs in every time
Echoing that Weather Station love. I think you’d like that album a lot. I became obsessed with her stuff after her last album a couple of years ago. Her writing is exquisite.
I played the Julie Byrne record quite a bit for the first few weeks and then barely came back to it. Lots to like on it, but Natural Blue definitely stands above the rest.
it’s been on every list, sure, but ranges anywhere from top 5 to top 30. it’s not like solange or beyoncé last year where it’s basically guaranteed to be top 3

Sza is much better than the rest of that pack, others have moments but are nowhere close to good full albums
