I'm looking forward to Passion of the Weiss and NPR. Most of the others haven't done much for me in quite a few years.

I have started putting in old albums that I newly discovered

 

Last year, Rolling Stone put “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac on their best songs of the year list, so all bets are off at this point.

 

I gotta go back to that Weather Station album, I guess.

 

I found the Weather Station album to be kind of a snooze, but I have heard it tipped as the likely consensus pick across these lists. Guess I'll give it another try.

XPN's is solid. Nice couple of records I hadn't heard of, like Emma-Jean Thackray and Rosali:

That Yola album should be on every list. What a gem that is.

 

Going to be better this year about checking out stuff I missed based on lists. First up, this Arlo Parks album. Pissed at myself for sleeping on this one.

 

Another Michael was this year? Jesus christ it’s been a long one

 

Both great albums. Definitely checking out this list based off those.

I kept getting Magdalena Bay rec'd to me on Spotify and always skip it. lol. Guess I should give it a formal listen.

It's good! Not my favorite of the year, and I don't think any song on it touches "Good Intentions", but it's good!
