I’ve listened to 5 of them haha

 

Been doing my annual run through the p4k list today. Reminded me how good some of the stuff I haven’t listen to in months is (CHAI, Empath) and discovered the great Keed and Duwap Kaine tracks so far. Near the halfway point now. I can’t believe this Shawn Mendes track made it on lol.

The big question is why most of these didn’t get BNT this year.

I don't know if I've ever not gotten something as hard as I'm not getting why LDR's album is apparently so good

 

Honestly, I was surprised to see it outside the top 10 lol

Mostly the expected bunch of albums, but happy to see Faye Webster and Barker. I feel like those are outside picks for them. Pretty baffled by the lack of Earl and black midi though.

 

Right there with you on that. I had trouble getting through it.

 

the ldr record is very long and poorly-paced, even its admirers will admit this and share their alternate tracklistings with you

 

it doesn't have shit on all mirrors imo

 

It lost my interest at some point during the 10-minute song and never got it back.

 

I think the LDR album has her best songs yet on it, and a ton of not great songs. Honestly, Venice Bitch might be my favorite song she's ever done, but the whole album is too long like all of hers and the back half slogs

 

I love the LDR big time. But I am a gigantic sucker for nostalgia so I had no shot. It’s in my top 5. I like the P4K list quite a bit. Really happy to see Helado Negro so high. Biggest omission off the top of my head is Charly Bliss- Young Enough.
