facts and saint pablo bonus tracks tho

 

fair enough, the "bonus" section of the album is definitely my least favorites. 30 hours, no more parties, and facts are all pretty weak tracks for me. saint pablo might just be my favorite track on the whole thing though.

 

Saint Pablo and Fade are amazing but I'm not wild about any of the other post-Wolves tracks

forgot about fade. yeah, fade and pablo are amazing tracks for sure.

 

Saint Pablo is clumsy as fuck and has a super weird line in there that borders on Anti-Semitic

 

and the hook on FML is awful, irritating as hell

To be fair though, the outro is great

 

That hook is actually one of my favorites of the year, I was so blown away hearing that song for the first time

 

yeah that line is rough, haven't listened to the song very often partially because of that

disagree completely about fml tho

 

Gimmie Ye's parts, cut the Weeknd out or rework that hook and it's a good song. The entire "fuck my life up" part just bothers me. Skip it every time, which like I said is a shame because the outro is cool.

FML definitely took a few listens before I loved it - now it's one of my favorite tracks on the album

 

I could see how someone might find it a bit cringey just because the use of FML.

 

idk I generally allow most things to pass over me even if I'm not all that interested in it, that section just does something weird to me aesthetically.

 

FML is probably the best track on the album after ULB.

 

The chorus is such a beautiful cry of desperation. The song has only become more poignant given the last month of Ye's mental health.

 

That's fine, I understand the emotional weight to the lyrics. I just don't like the way it sounds.

 

I was driving in a snow storm to go meet my dealer the first time I heard that hook and I fucking lost it

 

Was Saint Pablo added in later or something? I know there was a million and one versions of the album, but the one I have (which would have been one of the early ones???) doesn't have it on there.

Or did I just get a bum copy?

 

If I'm not mistaken it dropped separately from the rest of the album but around the same time then got tacked on as a bonus track during one of the Apple Music revamps

 

Ah okay, I must have missed that entirely!
