seeing WU LYF even on this list makes me so happy.

 

if im being honest, the only massive ommisions (for me atleast) i can think of is Gossamer and something from Cloud Nothings lol

 

Honestly thought the list was very good. Hard agree about #1 though I’d have put TPAB at #2. Lots of stuff I wasn’t expecting to see on there at all like Red and Home Like NoPlace Is There. Very diverse list, too

 

I gasped when I saw Never Hungover Again at #90. Sick.

 

Guess I can’t get too greedy but wish ravedeath had been higher and virgins were somewhere on there. but getting one hecker album as is makes me happy

 

2 Frankie Oceans in the top 10 is pretty crazy

 

Happy about Hop Along, Hotelier, Paramore, and Joyce Manor on here. Lol at the lack of Benji. I would have fought hard for Harmlessness by TWIABP and TDB by Against Me but I’m not surprised by the omission of either. Probably would have chosen Telefone over Room 25 too

I said this in the unpopular opinions thread, but I'm scratching my head at the placement/inclusion of a few of the pop albums of the decade. Kinda seems like revisionist history/poptimism overload imo

P4k list looked very solid. Surprised that with Home and Never Hungover Again making it they didn’t give that same love to Worry.

 

How many of their album of the year picks got outranked by other albums from those years? It’s interesting how some of those things have shifted on this list.

 

Just realized the Pitchfork list is missing Tha Tour Part 1

 

obviously agreed on all counts

 

they did get barter 6 right at least

 

glass swords is the worst omission, that record is still ahead of its time

 

Lack of Foals on these lists hurts. I've got Total Life Forever on my own list.

 

This list is actually pretty great

 

Blonde is a great album but MBDTF is the album of the decade no question in my opinion
