One of the best rock bands currently working. Last record was a blinder.

This is a weeeeiiirrrddd one. I like it, but the sonic palette, vocal performance, and lyrics all seem to be a pretty big departure from the rest of their records.

Sounds of a piece to me, but it's definitely dense. Gonna take a few listens to sort out.

EDIT: a few listens later and it's absolutely clicking into place. love the way they'll cut through a cryptic, angry song with an openhearted sentiment out of nowhere. the occasional accents of pedal steel are an interesting touch as well.

On my first listen and Let’s Tip the Creator has got a definite vibe to it

Listened to this band a couple of times before and always vibed to them but never really got pulled in. I liked the first single and decide to put this on while riding my bike to work. And damn I really like this!

Another quality entry to their discography. One of the few bands for me where it's incredibly hard to rank their albums. I hope they find some financial success with this one because they were pretty open about how they were struggling financially a few years ago. I picked up a shirt and plan to go to their show here in July.

Listened about 5 times so far. Love it. I think it’s more atmospheric than a lot of their records, and initially the lyrics feels less quotable that the other albums did. At the same time, it feels more personal. Something about it reminds me of that last mewithoutYou record. Can’t wait to see them in Chicago.
