Propagandhi - Victory Lap (September 29, 2017) Album

Not my style of music generally, but I always enjoy Propagandhi albums for some reason. They execute really well. There are a few songs off of Supporting Caste in particular that I absolutely love.

Is this their first album since 2012's Failed States?

 

I loved Supporting Caste at the time, don't think I ever listened to Failed States.

They're playing across the street from me with Iron Chic, if this album does anything for me I'll definitely walk over and check it out

 

Can't wait for this. One of my favourite bands.

 

It's good. It's different for them. But it's good and so very needed right now.

 

What's it close to? As in regards to their discography? I loved what they did with Failed States, but would love for something reminiscent of Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes.

 

This album could not have come at a more perfect time. Rules so damn hard. Glad I wore my Prop tee today. Love this band.

I would say it’s TETA territory. Amazing album.

 

This album rules. Cop Just Out of Frame is my early favorite.

 

This is more of the same but it sounds so good. Found myself just headbang dancing many times hah

EDIT: This may be the strongest overall of the last 3

 

4 tracks deep and I'm havin a fuckin ball. So much killer riffage

 

I'm having a very difficult time trying to listen to anything else other than this album rn. Completely in love with it.

 

I am quite digging this album. This is not generally my genre of music at all, but Propagandhi do it so fucking well - every musician in this band is top notch.

"Low Order/A Good Laugh" is my early favorite.

 

This album is truly incredible. I'm stunned this is only on Page 1 still!

 

Off topic but how has Chris Hannah been playing in a punk band for 30 years? He doesn't look a day over 35
