wow, this song is atrocious. damn. i also don't know why he put it under the promise of redemption name...seems to be breaking away from the themes that made this project in the first place
Also wasn't a fan of this. The beginning in particular was pretty off-putting. I do enjoy his voice, but this song is not for me, sadly.
Dude Shane what is that intro I love Valencia and his other releases but this song is off-putting. I'll still check out the album but my hype is definitely lowered. This isn't what I was expecting at all.
WTH is this? As others have said, this is nothing what PoR should sound like. I just can't believe something this bad can come from someone who literally has done nothing bad before. Such a mess of a track. Super bummed.
The last Promise of Redemption album had such a huge impact on my life. I find this to be quite the opposite of anything I ever wanted to hear.
I mean, this song is fine. Like Blake said, it sounds like a poppier Valencia song. It could have fit on their last record. But most of this EP is mostly true to the feel of When the Flowers Bloom--albeit, less crushingly sad.
