One of many artists I never gave a chance to. But i've been slowing making my way through his discography recently. Some of his more saccharine moments can grate a little, but when he gets really funky? Oooooh weeeeee that shit makes me wanna move.

I salute & envy you - if someone has 9 lps of b-sides rarities for a single album cycle with (almost) no filler its Prince

 

My real dream was for a Smile Sessions style reconstruction of Dream Factory and Crystal Ball, but this is about as close as we'll ever get, and I'm flipping shit excited for it.

 

Love Sign O The Times, so this is all very exciting.

I'll edit to say that I Could Never... is a top level Prince song and I hope there's no less than 20 versions of it on this new set.

 

I THINK between this, the other expanded editions like Purple Rain, and Crystal Ball, I can make playlists for all the various trackslists of Camille and Dream Factory, etc. Which you bet your ass I will be.

 

Girls & Boys is such a jam.
