I feel like this would be one of my favorite bands, but it’s hard to get past the front-person’s voice. I feel like he’s toned things down this album, but it’s still a bit much for me. I feel like I have a decently high tolerance for weird voices, too
It’s definitely the biggest barrier to entry but I’ve grown to love Kory’s voice. Definitely feel like this album is his strongest work in that department either way.
Got through this a couple times this morning. My initial urge is to say I do not like this as much as Cosmic Thrill Seekers. It is very good and feels like a huge jump in maturity from their previous releases.
yeah, i honestly have been pretty lukewarm on everything this band has done up until this. really enjoying it.
So many cool guitar solos all over this thing, if there’s one thing this band knows how to do it’s shred.
Show in Buffalo last night was fun. Maybe 150 people there at most & the new songs sound sick. There were also a dozen people wearing the exact same green Pdaddy hoodie from the Hot Mulligan tour haha
Haha I have that hoodie from a few years ago maybe I'll bust it out, they usually draw pretty well in Cleveland
This record is this band's The Greatest Generation. Favorite Songs so far are Jesus Christ and Hollow.
