Confused. He’s probably the only reason they even got a review. Good for them.

 

I was about to click but thanks for telling me who wrote this so I don't have to bother.

 

He calls it a masterpiece in the blurb, I’d say there are pretty low odds he had anything to do with the actual score

 

Yea, it’s been said that the Pitchfork reviewer doesn’t come up the with score

 

it's always gonna be fuck ian cohen for his comments about scott/frightened rabbit, but yeah the score is always an editorial decision that the reviewer has no control over.

 

Always and forever.

 

I would give this album a 420/420

Ursula Merger is a really stunning track

 

I love this record

 

It continues to grow on me every time I listen, and I've heard it 10+ times by now. Wacky Misadventures makes me feel big things.

 

This is like a better version of Songs From the Black Hole than weezer could have ever given us.

 

The riff in C’mon is stuck in my head literally all the time

IT SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME

 

I love the production of this album. Everything just feels perfectly placed in the mix and all of the unique song components sound as if they were extremely thoughtful when picking them.

 

Setlist for the tour looks good.

Someone on FB said they played almost all of CTS with the exception of CTSF and Dialogue (though someone else said they played dialogue) plus almost all of adult summers (no I’m a bum), thrash 1/3, and the “hits” from ITYDLL

The songs from CTS are played in clusters of 2-3 songs in album order

 

I assumed the only one they couldn't play would be CTSF so that's pretty cool, I'm sure they'll throw 2/3 when Kissi joins the tour

 

They should just do 2/3 with Avery from RP singing when Kissi is off the tour!

 

Ugh I want CTSF but still that's cool

Also curious what the "hits" from ITYDELL are haha

 

Sad that I have to wait so long to see them, my show isn’t until the end of August lol.
