I totally missed this. Going to have to fix that.

 

I saw them on TCGS and was wondering if they had a thread. Havent listened to this new album yet but loved the older stuff!

 

The Tiny Desk got shit on hard. Was it bad?

I do admit I like when they are more chaotic

 

I only watched “Jesus Son” but it honestly sounded amazing. It’s not “punk” though so of course people are mad at them. They’ve brought in so many more influences since their earlier stuff and I think it’s made their music.

It’s unfair how overlooked this album is compared to the last one. I liked it immediately but even then I tossed it aside quickly as something not on the level of Nothing Feels Natural. Watching that performance, it really struck me that this is probably their “best” album yet and honestly I’m excited to dig back into it.

 

Damn.
