Always funny those older movies where the mic's they used for the filming (if used at all) were so bad that they had to record the character lines in a studio and have that play over the scenes instead.
I love that the creatives behind Predator 2 clearly watched 1 and thought "what if the hero/predator battle that's 20 minutes here took up a whole 50 instead" inspired choice
I can tell the two best movies I've seen this year are nestling into my subconscious, cos last night I had a dream me and my friends had to fight a Predator and the Nope monster at the same time and it was fucking awesome
Finally had time to sit down and watch this and oh my god. It’s so good. This is the first Predator movie I’m legitimately a big fan of. Very curious to see if they do follow this up with something related to the Native American hide paintings of the incoming ships during the end credits. Naru’s plan is such a well executed sequence recalling everything she’d learned throughout the film and I just loved it.
The film has been getting soooo much good buzz and hype, generating tons of streams, that I'm sure the studio is now more likely to call for a follow-up
Rewatching 2010’s Predators to lead into Prey. I remember thinking this movie was kinda boring when it came out but I’m truly enjoying it this go round. Stoked to check out Prey!
Thanking my parents for signing up for Hulu recently because I just watched last night and goddamn was this movie great.
