Sounds 100% like Charlie. Wouldn't be surprised if that's Eddie Thrower on drums since he's become Charlie's go-to ever since bringing him aboard to join Busted.

Masked bands playing down-tuned riffs are so hot right now.

I'm in love with the ordinary

Love this song! Makes me miss the fuck out of Fightstar though! It's Charlie for sure, would recognize that voice anywhere. Plus the band name is registered to Komorebi Studio which is his personal studio. The record label is also registered to a "Charles Robert Simpson". His Patreon page has also been pretty quiet since January.

Honestly wondering if this is Fightstar with a different drummer and that's why they're using a different name. Ohms lives in Portugal now I believe. Plus it definitely still sounds like the Gunship style synths and Fightstar in general. Logo even lowkey looks like an F. Dan seems to have been playing a lot more heavy stuff on his Insta lately. It could even be a blend of the 3 Gunship members (Al G on drums) and Charlie singing. I'm leaning more towards the guitarist and bassist not being Alex and Dan based on the bodies in the video. It definitely feels like a perfect mix of Fightstar and Gunship though so I'd be surprised if they're not involved somehow. Maybe this is the leftover albums worth of Gunship songs they had after Unicorn, and songs that Charlie has been writing for Fightstar since Behind the Devil's Back?

Can't believe it's already been 10 years since that record. They sounded revitalized on that album and I always hoped we'd get more. Charlie's a super talented dude, and I'm always happy to listen to anything he does. Even that Busted cover of "MMMBop" with Hanson was great.

BtDB was such a great album too, always wanted more. Have come to terms with the fact that's probably it though. The reunion announcement hurt because it was just live show stuff. Was hoping it'd mean more music but that never came. I love everything they all put out so it helps ease the pain a little bit. Whatever this is though, gives me hope!! This song is pretty similar to BtDB actually because that was when they started adding in a lot more synthy stuff, it was a nice evolution of their sound.

Yup, I listened to the 2 versions of the Busted greatest hits albums a lot, it was pretty fun! I especially loved the collab versions with the other bands.

That's Charlie, no doubt about it. Great song! I'm excited about this
