I've loaded up Christmas music on my iPod, but haven't started listening yet. Really excited to spin that new She & Him Christmas vinyl
the mall is playing christmas music, so our store is playing christmas music, so i'm listening to christmas music.
Okay, it has officially started. Posting my favorite Christmas EP. There's something that's so dark about these songs that I just love.
I wish there was a good database somewhere of artists who have released proper Christmas albums. There are so many cobbled-together comps that it's hard to sift through.
Mariah's Christmas albums are a favorite in my household. Yes they are overproduced, but they are, well, jolly. I also really like the new Kacey Musgraves Christmas album. Brian McKnight has a good Christmas album too, if I remember it right. But usually I only like a few tracks of each, so I mostly listen to a playlist.
I really like all the ones The Killers have done, so now that they made it an official album I'll say that one. On top of that, Dustin Kensrue's The Good Night is Still Everywhere, The Complete James Brown Christmas, and the Home Alone soundtrack. Busting out my personal definitive Christmas playlist for the first time this year and putting up some lights. Stoked.
Low Christmas. also, one i'm sure no one else here has heard, but i really love, is Lost & Found's Christmas album. the vocals are an acquired taste, but there are a few piano only tracks that are some of my favorite christmas songs.
My all time go to traditional fave is Bing Crosbys Christmas Album, they just re-released it this year, remastered and such. I have two copies of it on vinyl.
Hey gang, The AngstCast will be going officially live sometime tonight. I'll be over 1600 songs this year! Adding a few new fun ID's as well! Merry Punxmas!!

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/24/arts/music/holiday-music-albums.html I have been listening to some of these recommendations and so far they have been great. The Lauren Daigle album is fantastic, it's very traditional, but with a Louisiana twist.
