I think the singer posted on twitter that he had new music he was going to post to a solo page or something so could be taking a break but they haven't said anything so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Well I freakin love that....
    from washed up emo:
"This project has always been on the back burner. I wrote a solo EP in 2012, which was accompanied by a full band. I found it to be a nice outlet away from Prawn. I picked the project back up after Prawn finished our last tour in February. Everyone was pretty burnt out and wanted to take some time away from playing and it seemed like the space was available for me to write songs on my own again. The songs I was writing had much more of a full band feel to them and after a few months, I asked the guys to start jamming them out with me. They feel different than Prawn songs and I'm doing all the writing, so it felt wrong to call them Prawn. Who knows where the project goes, as right now it's all about having fun playing music." - Tony

Was just coming to post this... I love it!

Stripped down a little but still if you like Prawn at all you should eat this up...

Plus produced/mixed by Greg Dunn of Moving Mountains who did Kingfisher.

Pocono is the final version of Chairlift that he shared on YouTube previously.

Excited to check this out today. I wasn't a big fan of Run, but Kingfisher is an all time great, along with their split with MovMou.

Album is really good, could have been a Prawn record if there were a few more differences, but I enjoy this as it is.

I saw them play to like 25 ppl one night on their last tour. is that common ?

  14. Yes.

they were never a big band. That isn’t surprising at all.

The movmou split is their best work by far imo, and the movmou songs on there are two of the best songs I’ve ever heard

  21. Yep the MovMou split gave us what are pretty easily the best two Prawn songs

Man, that MovMou split led me to believe that they were gonna record their next album with Yip. I really wish that would happen.

  23. Yeah I remember posting about how I liked that they didn’t chain themselves to him like so many other bands do. Now I wish that hadn’t been the case. I know Run was a hit for a lot of folks around here but that record never grew on me at all

Same, and I’m a huge fan of Kingfisher. Run never did it for me, at all.

Me neither. The Tony Clark record was flames tho.
