Part of me just wants to do that but I don't want to spend $60+ right now. Cue the Charlie Brown ugh.
I'm not very familiar with this band, but that song has piqued my attention. Now I'm listening to their songs on the MovMou split and enjoying it.
confirmed, checked it out based solely on the arrested development reference and i've been hooked since.
and you can't even fully get how good scud running is until track two make sure you're listening to the deluxe too, with settled in there.
seeing people discover Prawn makes me happy. currently one of the best bands in this genre in my opinion
single definitely isn't a great representation of the record. whole thing leans more towards being a lot more upbeat as a whole. some vocal melody choices i'm not necessarily a fan of, sort of how some parts in this song are, but i might just need more time to get used to some of the patterns. the closer is fantastic, definitely one of the best on first listen. the song i saw live at the JEW tour is track 10. i'll have more input once i listen more. more cool news coming up with this band as well. excited for this cycle!!
idk who else is playing but the idea of the tour excites me, seems like it'll be a smaller one with a lot more next year
Alright after finally get around to trying it again I'm here to agree, Kingfisher jams. The guitars on this record are nasty. A lot of great riffs and tones.
there are some parts that remind me of the pop punky parts of harmlessness (the end of january, i can be afraid of anything, etc)
