lol I was just thinking about what these guys were up to yesterday...

Also, it's Destin, FL. Not Dustin.

Can't imagine what it must feel like to have made a PLATINUM album in 1999 yet be playing at a place called Dingbat's in fucking Clifton, NJ. Also, anyone old enough to remember when they straight up pulled their 2001 album (which was the follow up to their hit) basically because they admitted it sucked?

I remember my nu-metal phase quite well. I loved their second album and was pumped for the follow up and then it just got cancelled. Then I remember the actual followup "Transform" came out and it wasn't terrible but it sounded so different.

Also, just remembered the lead singer is Rob Zombie's brother.

Just had to look them up because I haven't heard from them in ages, and apparently, they're still touring and playing festivals. Figures.

    Also, looks rough, man.

Haha, well we must remember that as we get old, all the dudes in bands we listened to growing up ALSO get older. Fun fact, I got my driver's license in April of 2000 and my on my first solo drive (to Tower Records of course), I popped in Tonight The Stars Revolt on the way which felt pretty badass. Don't remember what CD I ended up buying unfortunately.

Eh, he got older. He's almost 50. He looks like he's in way better shape that other lead singers of that era.

If they're making enough money to keep doing this rather than work a 9-5, I can't blame them.

Also, I had to check out what the venue was, and it turns out that Crazy Town is playing there soon. Heh.

I love Transform. It's a really good rock album. I had no idea their original 2nd album was cancelled. Super interesting, but now that I think about it there was a huge gap between Tonight the Stars Revolt and Transform.
