New album Nightmare Logic out later this year on Southern Lord.

Manifest Decimation has at least one riff per song that makes me want to run through a brick wall.

Can't fucking wait for this one, Manifest Decimation is so good.

 

I haven't listened to much new thrash, is there any as good as this album?

 

Ripper's debut album that came out this year, Experiment of Existence, is really good. They're a pretty young Brazilian band so their sound is more akin to early Sepultura and the like. Great stuff.

Incidentally, the artwork is by the same guy who did Manifest Decimation, Paolo Girardi. I pretty much check out any album I see his art on haha.

Destroyer 666's new album rips too.

Can’t help but wonder if he was struggling through some shit during this stupid fucking pandemic. Such a loss.

 

Seeing this band in college is most of the reason I am the way I am today. This one hurts bad, Texas hardcore will never have a better one

This is a major bummer. Sad for him and his family. I was looking forward to seeing how they would follow up Nightmare Logic

 

Checked them out because of Riley's passing and some stuff I read about him. Man, wish it didn't take that for me to give them a go (I really don't listen to this type of music/much heavy shit anymore), but they're fucking awesome and now I can't stop. RIP.
