I forgot to mention this last night but I generally enjoyed the wild life series just for the mega zords. I mean they have a freaking armadillo soccer ball and it was the best.
I remember years ago, I did my own Power Ranger marathon. The only real series I couldn't watch was Megaforce/Super Megaforce it was so cringy and unoriginal. Yeah, I know Power Rangers isn't the best series/franchise (although, I love the idea), and that Megaforce was a season held in celebration of past Power Ranger runs. Plus some other seasons have some questionable acting (this new marathon on twitch has made that more obvious to me), but all the seasons from the past (and seasons after megaforce) had something going on for them... Megaforce was the one I couldn't finish. The only cool thing about it was that cross over with Samurai Rangers, and that mega team up with all the past Power Ranger teams (although the fact that Saban is cheap and didn't go all out bringing back even more past actors to reprise their roles kinds of ruined it for me). Still was cool to see them all team up though.
Time Force and RPM will alwabs I own the seasons on DVD and re-watch every so often, but I basically can not stand a single episode of Megaforce or Super Megaforce. I totally understand that it was a big "anniversary" season, but MY GOD they tried so hard to re-capture MMPR's feel and it was so bad.
She is very attractive. Same with Ciara Hanna, who's oddly enough dating the dude from Waterparks. Such a shame they were put in such a garbage season.
I was only into the original power rangers, I remember thinking the one that came after was really lame, even at my age at the time and then just went on to other "cooler" things. Pokémon, Dragonball Z, Video games
I'm loving every series just for how cheesy some of these villains can get. I mean come on I just saw a lawnmower villain last night.
Cannot wait for this movie. Power Rangers was a huge thing for me as a kid. I remember they hype surrounding the first episode showing on Fox. Watched up until about the Space or Turbo seasons, pretty much up until JDF left the show. Going Friday during the day. I'm like the only excited one out of my friends haha. Oh well.
I remember the controversy when the series first premiered. Apparently some parents thought it was too violent or encouraged fighting, lol
Well yeah dude I mean we watched major terrorist attacks weekly in Angel Grove, and I can't act like there weren't a few times where I considered taking my pterodactyl thunderwhip to school which is unlicensed.
I think the best part of the original series is how the town was always getting destroyed and there was never explanation to what happened after.
My parents would let me watch Power Rangers but not VR Troopers. Which sucked because VR Troopers had way cooler costumes. I also fucked heavily with Masked Rider. Beetleborgs was wack.
I was pretty into Beetleborgs for a brief while, mostly because the toys were cool I think Masked Rider was the only one of those I didn't watch. But I had one of the toys anyway
Just started Dino Charge and it seems pretty fun. I would like to breeze through MMPR and see some of the other early seasons but there's so many episodes. They really milked the series initial popularity
This was surprisingly a lot of fun. The dialogue is mostly terrible and it's probably 20 minutes too long, but I had a good time with this. A simple, fun action picture.
I really loved Dino Charge and mostly all of Super Dino Charge. Fun characters and a decent enough story. The ending of it all gets a little weird, but it's definitely the best thing that's happened since Saban got the rights back.
you can tell how great the power rangers are by how aggressive they do hand motions. I'm watching Power Rangers SPD now.
I'll probably catch this on Tuesday but this whole marathon has seriously reinvigorated my love for the show.
fucking Tommy was always late on the show I liked this more than I thought i would. But I did have pretty low expectations.... Too tired to say much more. But any Ranger fan will be able to enjoy this for what it is.
