Someone just let us know if Rita used to be the Green Ranger already. EDIT: Couldn't help myself. If you don't care about the flick, check this out. Massive Mighty Morphin Spoilers For The Power Rangers Movie, Revealed - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movie, TV News
I've been tuning into the twitch marathon from time to time. I think the light speed series might be my least favorite one that I saw. It was just bad all around.
I haaaaaaaaaaaated Lightspeed when it aired. It was the first series that had absolutely nothing to do with any of the previous ones and I thought it was so boring. Hated that they were basically a government police force and everyone knew who they were and their zords and suits were built and designed by the weapons unit and blech. It also came on the heels of Lost Galaxy, which I was very fond of. Maybe I'd like it less if I went back to it now, but at the time I appreciated that it took some risks (killed off a power ranger) and also tied in to In Space by using a previous character. It felt like an epilogue to the original series run as a result. Lightspeed just felt like a drop off in quality and I was starting to get older as well. I quit somewhere in the middle of Time Force.
I quit during Turbo. I've been meaning to go back and rewatch the old stuff and get caught up on some of the ones I missed
checked the twitch channel and they are currently in the power rangers time force era now. I tuned in at the most dramatic moment apparently.
power rangers wild force has a lawnmower monster and that might be the best one in the entire series so far.
What's worse, the movies or the fact the reboot probably won't be any better than them? Power Rangers doesn't belong to be condensed to a two-hour film.
Aren't they usually condensed into twenty minute episodes? I look at it more like an extended episode than an entire arc.
I stopped watching, I think, during Lost Galaxy. That was sort of when it just dropped off for me, I don't recall finishing that series. But growing up, I was obsessed with the Power Rangers. Might go to see this out of morbid curiosity, but probably won't because there are actual good films out that I still haven't seen yet.
I know I watched a majority of the original series, as it aired weekly. I remember talking about the first time the green ranger showed up, then the white ranger and it was the same person!!!! I always thought there was a gold ranger, for whatever reason. Didn't Jason come back and play someone other than the red at some point?
Power Rangers Zeo - Wikipedia Says that Jason was the second gold ranger? EDIT: Nevermind, maybe if I scrolled to the end of the ranger list I would have seen the original gold one!
Only thing I don't like about the cast change in the original series was that Rocky became the red ranger but Tommy became the leader. Red should always be the leader. Plus white ranger was a huge step down from green.
I always liked the Green ranger, and I remember the arguing of who was the best. I don't remember any of the details on who became what, and why people left, etc. But I always saw Jason as the leader, Rocky was a weak replacement. By the way, has anyone read the fan fiction relating to the Pink Ranger? As far as I know, there are two versions. The original - Agony in Pink, and what I think is a rehash - Pink in Peril. As you can tell by the titles, they essentially tell the story of Kimberly being kidnapped, tortured, etc. Agony in Pink was in the 90's, I think, while Pink in Peril was in 2012, but I think they're related in some way. Here is Agony in Pink. http://www.asstr.org/files/Collecti...n/Serials/Agony in Pink - Special Edition.txt
