lacma sounds like a museum where the exhibits are all paintings of women breastfeeding. but tasteful.
I thought the Toba Khedoori stuff that played with perspective was cool. She had a painting of a window that I found myself staring at too long, so maybe that one resonated with me the most for some reason. There were other pieces I loved but didn't take pics or remember the artists. We did the rain room too, which was fun. There was a moment when I walked into a room, and there were a bunch of people sitting in chairs staring at the walls in silence. I thought the whole thing was some sort of performance art/exhibit, but it turns out I'm dumb and they were just there as part of a tour and were observing the art on the walls astutely before the tour guide asked them to all rotate seats. This is a long response. Didn't mean to turn this into the all about Joe thread.
This is amazing. i wish we got to do the rain room, but it was sold out for the day by the time we got there.
Last month I got engaged to my best friend in Bryant Park. A kind stranger decided to take pictures once she realized what was going on - I am forever grateful for her.
Oh, lol. I thought you lived in California, that's why I said the thing about snow. Whoops, I feel like a dummy now lol.
@Dirty Sanchez it does snow in California. It's called Norhern California. Tahoe and Truckee have a shit ton of snow right now.
