Land of Oz "theme park" in Beech Mountain, NC (western side near TN). It's 5500 feet up and has a crazy road that got me dizzy driving up to it. Originally opened in 1970, closed in then 80's and went to rot. Opens up rarely and can be rented out... this year they've opened it on Friday's for the past month (next week is the last week) with tickets on sale the Monday prior to each tour... but good luck, they sell out within a minute of going on sale (server crashes galore the first three weeks). It's a really neat old park, with a lot of it missing now but still was a good two hour walking tour.
