Took my dog to go get a rabies shot today. He had no idea what was coming.

 

My dog got his rabies shot yesterday. Last year (when he was a puppy) he got really sick afterwards, for like days. So I was pretty nervous this time, but they gave him a shot of benadryl before the rabies shot and he was totally fine!

Also is that a pug shirt you have on? hah

 

lol it is. My city has been putting on bi-weekly rabies shots for $10 the last two months and today was the last day so I went out and had that done. The workers loved the shirt. Dog took it like a champ. It's a three year vac, which I had no idea existed. Hope he doesn't have any side effects... seems as crazy as he normally is after it but I'll definitely keep an eye on him after this.

 

Ah yes same for my dog! I also had no idea they existed until yesterday. I'm pumped though because I hate vet bills (or just bills in general), so it's nice to know he's good to go until 2019.
