I went to a “twenty nine-scene” birthday party aka a MySpace era scene/emo party and it was amazing lmao
The best I could do to dress the part. I wish I had gone to my moms and gotten more accessories but ah well. Wearing an all time low shirt and leopard print shorts and my signature accessory back in the day, the hairband. Also 6 layers of eyeliner and fake lip ring tucked into my real lip ring’s scar

 

Jealous! I've always wanted a themed party but I worry that nobody will commit

themed parties seem fun in theory but like I don't want to leave the house anyway and then having to spend money on something I'd wear once no thanks, also I would be anxious because I'm type a and would give 110% and I'd worry other people would half ass it and I'd look like an idiot

I mean my outfit was from (the back of) my closet Hahahah but themed parties are best handled at the thrift store for minimal spending!! My ex and I spent $10 together on his outfit + my accessories
Also if there’s one thing I’ve learned is that giving 110% is legit never a bad thing, it’s better to be extra af than underwhelming ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that’s my philosophy anyway!
