I went to a pumpkin patch yesterday. I am single and was not wearing flannel. Subverting trends as always yoooo. But I never just go to them by myself. Even tho I would for apple cider donuts. Tho this farm didn't have any.
Yes so I could go undercover and see all the couples and families. I think I saw maybe two people there who did not appear to be with a family and even then I assumed they were getting pumpkins for a girlfriend or someone lol
We have a place near my home town that is an apple/pumpkin orchard. They do a ton of baking as well. Its AMAZING.
Because they're out on farms who have apples and make them fresh. All the farms have lil shops with jams and pies and donuts and stuff they make!
The only one I know of near me is at a church, I guess that explains why they don't have anything besides pumpkins
Yeah most orchards by me have apple cider and apple cider donuts in the fall, but I've never been to a pumpkin orchard that wasn't also an apple orchard
What’s the allure of going to a pumpkin patch? Genuinely asking. I might have gone to one when I was a kid but I can’t think of why. It’s pumpkins.
it's a seasonal thing. same thing with going to a christmas tree farm in the winter. Plus it's a good cheap all day date. Go to the pumpkin patch, drink some cider, pet some baby goats, and pick out a couple of pumpkins in the day. then go home to hang out, drink alcohol, listen to a sad af fall playlists, and make up stupid pumpkin designs and carve them out at night
ALL DAY DATE. AT A PUMPKIN PATCH. I assumed this was like a 20 minute activity. All day, good god... Sounds like a good way to ruin a relationship quick lol
