Yeah I hear ya. Some of them smell really bad. I think the one I shop at doesn’t smell that bad but according to @ChaseTx it does have a smell so what do I know. I might be immune cause I literally work for a company that sells antiques and vintage goods so I’m around that kinda musty smell far too often haha. I always find amazing things at the thrift store I go to but I also live a city that’s relatively young people so I think that helps.
Thanks!! If you’re talking about the colorful thing I’m not sure what it was but it had loops and ties and I cut them off and made into a open kimono thing. (Also I paid $1 for it).
I think a few more thrift stores have opened up around town I should def check out! But the ones I've been to are like old lady thrift stores or the salvation army which I'm pretty sure has the pair of sparkly pink gradient pants I donated in like 2002. I think it's so cool when people find and modify stuff. I wanna learn to sew but so far I've made zero headway on this goal lol
i AM floral print. i have to STOP myself from buying florals but then i end up walking away with 10 blouses in yet another floral print. its a problem, i cant explain. i bought two black things at the thrift yesterday and i was like...whoooo am i?!?! ive changed.
haha sometimes i see the stuff i donated at the thrift too. actually a few years ago i was at goodwill and i had a dress in my hand i liked and i was about to buy it when i realized I WAS THE ONE WHO DONATED IT. at least my taste is somewhat consistent haha. i watch a lot of DIY and thirfting videos/channels on youtube which def helps with my ideas but at the same time i cant sew either so im limited as what i can do as well.
Bald boiz in love. Me featuring B. Dolan and Sage Francis. Pic is blurry cause right as it happened Dolan snapped my suspender and it flew off lol, but I like the candidness of it.
Yup, that looks like it! I went in as well, and got a picture standing under the waterfall. After just Googling it last week, I read some stuff saying never stand under it, because rocks from up above sometimes come falling down 400+ feet. Whoops! I've been buying a lot of floral print ties lately, I get SO many compliments on them. I'll have to take a few selfies this week as I wear them. I have to space them out so people don't think I just wear floral ties.
Went to Silverwood for the first time and it was nice. Like a rural Knotts Berry Farm but smaller I think? It is in Idaho MY GOD there was a huge flag and giant sign in a field that said TRUMP and You're in Patriot Territory which was slightly terrifying. But I'm a condescending jerk so I of course perfected my best pnw faux wannabe-southern Trump supporting accent while I was there So hyped for the ride clearly
Unfortunately my resting sad face did not inherit the smileyness! Lol but rly they're my friends foster kids and their faces can't be posted
Speaking of thrift stores, the ones near me that are suppose to have good stuff (recommended from someone who always thrift shops), don't imo and are also not cheap. Maybe they just got lucky. Like I can go to forever 21 and buy something similar for the same price or cheaper. Right now I have too many clothes and a super small closet and I can't really buy anything
My girlfriend and I decided to go for a walk in a country park and enjoy a brief bit of British summer. She looks 10/10 so I just wanted to show her off even though I forgot to shave and look a bit grim.
My facial hair grows mega slowly. I have to shave every like 4 days aha but that was a day of growth sadly.
I don't have a girlfriend to enjoy the British summer with, so this happened instead: Then I got appallingly drunk for a Monday...
