For real tho if anyone comes out here it should be during the pow wow WHICH I WILL MISS AGAIN THIS YEAR AND I AM SO DISTRAUGHT. I've missed the last few years and I need my fry bread fiiiiill.
I cannot guarantee the pow wow has funnel cake but the rodeo in september does. And the low budget carnival currently in town. Knotts has good funnel cake imo!
I am actually jealous your rodeo has funnel cake. The local rodeo is in a few weeks and it never has funnel cake. I need to go to an amusement park soon tbh.
that's a nice bomber jacket Dylan, I am complimenting your fashion sense you're going to frame this aren't you
Werk @thenewmatthewperry smiling and cheesing. Those other two look like someone just stole their wallet. In a complimentary way of course!!
It's a running joke among locals to complain about the weather and tell people not to come. It does rain a lot, but during the Summer it's beautiful and the clouds lift so we can see mountains. Highly recommend, if I'm being honest.
I feel the same. I grew up in the midwest and don't miss tornadoes, but do miss thunderstorms. The temperatures here are perfect almost always. The only drawbacks are Seasonal Affective Disorder, rising rent, and Amazon Tech Bro culture.
For real, though. I've lived here for 3 years now and already been priced out of two homes bc rent went up so much. It's crazy. And hopefully it'll plateau?
Man, all this talk of you guys scurrying around to visit each other. I want to get back to Chicago or Seattle at some point. If any of you end up in the UK and get near Bristol, come by and say hi, I'll show a cafe with swing seats, a street with a spiral echo and a single grass square with a surprisingly rich literary past. We'll maybe gloss over that the city was built on sugar, tobacco and the slave trade. Tends to spoil the mood.
yo nerds if any of you come to Seattle I'll host a meetup. I suck at organizing anything so it will be a disaster. Can't wait
