I’m confused, is blonde hair a recessive trait? Do I even have a firm understanding of how genetics work?

 

Hahahaha. It’s totally the first thing that gets asked. My wife had blonde hair as a baby but it had darkened up by the time she was his age. My half sister was blonde as a baby too - just a super recessive gene. His eyes are also blue which we can only really point to my maternal grandfather for. *shrug*

I was born blonde and got darker so I think it’s probably pretty common
