This new Pelican album is going to be pretty great, huh? I love how bright and vibrant some of these tracks are.

 

The new Pelican record is the most I’ve liked a Pelican record in a good while

I absolutely love the guitar tone on it.

My one minor gripe is that the transition from Gulch into Evergreen could, and felt like it should, have been epic but it didn't quite work out that way.

But yeah, album is beautiful. "happiness > god" in particular is really something.

 

The whole album is so good. I haven't listened to Ranges in a minute but Sin is really well done.

 

A Burial At Sea has started working on their 3rd album.
