Aurora Falls - MAZE RIYL A less post-metal Exxasens, modern GIAA somewhat, generally spacey and driving
Don't really know where to post this because there are so many layers and elements of Post Rock, Post Metal, Post Hardcore, Shoegaze, Slowcore, Metal, Sludge Might appeal to some here. Really good stuff.
Echoing my post in the metal thread about this album, it's cool as fuck and y'all should definitely check it out. There's some elements of jazz and even black metal sprinkled in with everything mentioned above.
This album is massive. Really living up to their band name with this one. PROGRESS/REGRESS is so good.
Had my inaugural listen a while ago, having not heard any of the singles. I like it. But I don't love it the way I do the debut. At least not yet. Closer is an absolute world-ending motherfucker though.
First listen really hit hard for me. I didn't know what to expect from the two tracks we've not heard yet. Progress/Regress is the most standard post rock they've done I would say but it's so good. Technoslavery/Vandalism might be my favourite track overall though, at least on the first few listens. That change to the 'vandalism' part is incredible.
Just now got around to listen to the new Bruit. As expected it's really good upon the first listen but I feel this needs time and plenty of listens in order to fully grasp it.
All over it. The next Bandcamp Friday is May 2nd so I'm going to hold off until then. I haven't listened to anything from it yet and very excited to give this a full attention first-time listen.
Ok. Checking out Athletics for the first time this is sick. I’m sure it’s been said but the Moving Mountain vibes are there
