dreamy, spacey, ambient, electronic; reminds me a bit of The American Dollar in places, but like, the good American Dollar back before they became whatever the fuck they are now

Last.fm Labs just launched a new feature called Artist Velocity, which shows how artists became a part of your top 50. I filtered it down to only post-rock bands in my top 50 and found the results pretty interesting! Caspian definitely going to be claiming top spot soon despite a late start.



Anyone else got last.fm? Would be cool to see how other people's charts look.

 

Interesting, I'll have to play around with this sometime. I feel like Hammock is just going to make everything look small though haha.

Riffy, shoegazey type of thing. RIYL a less aggressive Svalbard with less interesting vocals but also not god awful lyrics.

Also been loving Carbon Based Lifeforms and I’ve been getting into Sigur Ros

 

Their style already lends itself well to having a vocalist. This song rips. Reminds me a lot of Trenches.
