There's definitely some post-metal elements to Svalbard, but I don't really equate post-metal and post-rock. Regardless, we can never have enough praise for Svalbard, so by all means, carry on!
Scottish post-rock greats Mogwai return with album number 10, As the Love Continues, on Friday February 19th 2021. Dry Fantasy is its lead single and it's fucking beautiful.
Heavy post-/prog rock with a dash of metal from Mountain Caller whose great new record is out today: 65daysofstatic have also released two albums - these songs were compiled from their A Year of Wreckage project so if you supported that then they won't be new to you, but the two compilations have been remastered and are available on vinyl:
