I can see Vespertine being my most played album of the year. It is so wonderfully calm. It's like a full hour of Villa Del Refugio.
I’ve been listening to it every night to fall asleep. I usually listen to Hammock for that but Hammock can sometimes make me feel too nostalgic and I end up staying awake. I love all sides of This Will Destroy You so Vespertine is a welcome addition.
Excuse the stupid name 'cause this is cool as shit. It's also an hour and 40 minutes long, which is self-indulgent almost to the point of malignant narcissism, but it's still cool as shit.
If I could like my own posts, I'd be mashing that shit right now Edit: I will say the as-yet unbroken sequence of EPs/singles and no actual full-length album in 7 years is infuriating.

The first half of this is fix this glitch and it sucks, but the back half is surrounded by water and it’s some sweet post rock
