Listened to Little Histories and Subsume tonight and loved them. Let Yourself Be Huge is my favorite so far but I’m really excited to dig into the rest of his work. Weird that Spotify lists Subsume as a single/EP and Let Yourself Be Huge and an LP when the latter is 15 minutes shorter.

 

yo whats the absolute best shit from the last 2 to 3 years? I like twinkly delayed stuff, no metal influence. fave bands Mercury Program and Tortoise.

Saw Explosions twice this weekend and nothing is better than seeing “The Only Moment We Were Alone” live

 

Post-metal/blackgaze with strings (might qualify as neoclassical, but I don't even know what that word means)

 

The new Harbor Lights album leans a bit more towards the heavier side of post-rock but is very good

 

The guitarist of Trna^ has a second project that's essentially just this with vocals and the debut album came out yesterday and it's as rad as it sounds
