Really enjoyed Stuck. Gave me some Daughters vibes. The Media Jewler album on the other hand is just too avant-garde for me. I did enjoy the back half more when they toned the spazzy stuff down and he sounds a lot like Neil Fallon so that’s a plus!

 

For post punk/new wave/diy stuff, do you all prefer modern clean production or grimy vintage sounding production?

for me, lately, the ickier the better.

 

I just find out there is a new Desperate Journalist album

 

Darkwave, goth and some post punk. GOOD STUFF

 

Post punk with more emphasis on the punk side of things
