Oh, I dived into their material last year and it's wild how they sound like a completely different band on each project.

I have a preference for their debut EP, which gets gothy at times.

The word Alives new drummer is a beast

 

That EP is really something! Just be aware they've never done anything like it since haha.

Their first full-length saw them move towards a grunge/noise pop sound, akin to Nova Twins and Sleigh Bells at times. Not really my thing, but worth a listen.

They've since shifted to Octanecoreish alt/nu metal, and I played this song a lot in particular.

Curious to find out if they're going to stay in that style or change it up again.

Surprise Stray From The Path album just dropped. Apparently it's their final record.

 

I love thousand below, and the song is solid, and they’ve never been the most unique band, but I was really hoping they wouldn’t jump full steam on the stale fart noise djenty train.

That’s actually a stupid good tour but I haven’t kept close enough tabs on atreyu to know who’s doing the screamed vocals without Alex. I thought Brandon took over full vocal duty?
