Catching up on this thread. Thank you for that Half Me album, great stuff!

 

Ouuf, these guys really did a 180 from their Souvenirs days. Not into this at all.

 

yeah its a terrible song lmao. such a shame all their stuff with matteo was great. the new singer even has a pretty good voice too its the guitarists to blame for this being awful

new silent planets a different story. insanely good track. album is looking to be their best

Definitely one of the more under the radar bands that deserve a lot more attention. At this point they haven't released a bad track, imho. Glad you enjoyed!

 

You're definitely not. If it was a full song in the vein of the last heavier bit, I'd be in but that first chunk is just weird from what they were doing before.

Oh wow. Almost feels wrong to hear it like that, as I feel like its original rougher sounding sound has always been part of its charm.

 

These guys came up in my Spotify recs recently and I really dig it.

I'm seeing Dying Wish headline next month, so psyched

 

This band opened for Ithaca when I saw them last night. They are really good. Good mix of emo, pop and post hardcore.

 

The most KSE song so far.

 

Harm is SO GOOD. I wish they were bigger but it's glad to see other people digging them.

 

They were great.

 

So lucky! I wish I had known of them back when I was living in NC, they'd def be a band I'd go and see regardless of the headliner. I just love her clean vocals complimented by the screaming and guitar and drums and everything. They really really remind me of early-mid 2000s post hardcore that was super hot at the time. So while they have a familiar sound they still sound fresh because there's not many both-sex dual vocals like THIS anymore.

I love it.

 

Where did you live in NC? The show was at School Kids Records in Raleigh.

 

I lived in Lincolnton, near Hickory. Only less than 3 hours away lol. It would've been worth it!

 

This album came out today and it's so fun.
