It’s an interesting one that’s for sure. I have no idea what this Resolve album is going to be. Every song has been something completely different from the last.

The Word Alive dropped their seventh studio album 'Hard Reset' \m/ It features guest collaborations with From First To Last, Loveless, Bad Omens, Escape The Fate, & Normandie https://orcd.co/hardreset whose been jamming it?! its heavy!
I’ve always been a casual listener but this is about as close we are going to get to Life Cycles or Deceiver.
i feel like its a mix of real and life cycles! i dig it, all the collabs are great too! i dig their whole entire discography but it is rad to hear them play heavy for them again. those new members i think contributed to it. plus telle has his solo project to do his own thing, so i think thats another reason why this album is heavier than monomania
I'm a Battle Royale sucker, outside of that they get some random plays across their discography here and there from me. I'll probably check it out and see how I feel.
I fell off the bandwagon after Luke left and they went all electronic but I’m keen to check out the new stuff.
they never went all electronic, it's been metalcore/alternative rock whatever you want to call it through and through. these are all after luke left there are some electronic flourishes sprinkled throughout since they used to have a keyboardist back in the day. they just backtrack those parts now, but its still metal/rock based. you should check out those two albums after luke left, i think they are really great.
tis fair! :) i wanna see them live again, haven't since 2019! i wanna hear the new songs and see how the new line up is!
Also digging The Word Alive. I wouldn't say they're one of my favorite bands, but I do always enjoy hearing new stuff from them. Also going on record as being a big fan of electronic flourishes.
I admittedly haven’t listened to a lot of TWA since Deceiver/Life Cycles days but 2012 still hits hard in 2023.
big same! stuff like this just hits so well. their 2 new songs didn't have anything like treehouse which i love! maybe they will drop more
