I think I really only listened to the one album with Jag after Jordan Blake left, so it's been awhile since I listened to them.
Hey Nightmare and A Reason For Broken Wings were easily 2 of my most played songs for a loooong time. Could not love those songs more. One day Apple Music replaced my (what must have been) demo version of the record with the official and I preferred the old.
I was very impressed how it still sounded good. Yes, it has that Risecore sound to it but it works. I find it interesting how the band transitioned from the typical lead singer screams/guitarist does cleans to lead singer does the cleans and drummer does screams.
I’ve been waiting for this since Jordan left. I was obsessed with ep showed them to all my friends then Jordan left before I got to see them lol. Can’t wait to finally see them live, even though I doubt he’d be able to hit those notes all these years later
Are you talking about ASD? their first vocalist sang and screamed. The bassist and the drummer also screamed. When Jordan left, Jag only sang but the bassist and drummer still did the screaming until they left the band
Didn't Jag change the band Facebook page to his new band Signals, in order to get the followers? Look like it's being changed back to A Skylit Drive. Will be interesting to see how that one plays out
I think it’s the production. It almost sounds like a demo and he might have felt the need to release something in order to retaliate.
That song is literally a Signals b-side that's been quickly thrown together with the ASD name stuck on
