I don't listen to much metalcore anymore but a friend of mine recommended Fit For a King to me. I am liking The Path so far.
Been waiting to see what came of the Vanna stuff since they started teasing on Instagram. That was sick.
There's this (and more in the comments) though. I wonder if that's the reason they're reuniting without using that moniker and without him of course.
Metalcore from Russia. RIYL: Metalcore with some electronic elements, Bad Omens. A lot of the songs are sung in Russian which could be good or bad depending on how you feel about it.
Rise-core is alive and well with Like Moths to Flames. RIYL: Rise-core bands, The Plot in You, later-Miss May I.
I noticed that as well about their EP before this record. I’m assuming it is intentional, but it is bizarre because they never used to be quite as buried. This is easily my second favorite release by LMTF, maybe my favorite. I love that they’ve always kind of done the angry, bitter, depressing songs and just seem to get more pissed off with every release. God Complex is my favorite on this one.
Metalcore from Japan that incorporates a lot of pop, power metal and electronics. Just a single but it’s fun.
New Makari. Vocalist also fronts progressive metal band Monuments. RIYL: Dance Gavin Dance, Circa Survive
