This is still a banger.
Wendy's roasted everyone and everything today.
Neon is such a good album. ERRA really knocked it out of the park with that one.
"Hyperreality" might be the catchiest chorus I've ever heard in a metalcore song.
Hope those guys make a comeback, they’ve worked so damn hard to do so.
Lotus eater is putting out an ep March 28, and this is the video for the new single
Sad that The Ghost Inside are only doing one show. Won’t criticize them at all though, they’ve been through hell and know their limitations.
Also, Our Last Night released a heavyish song. I’m so surprised. We Will All Evolve came out in 2010, I just have to pray for a 10 year tour.
I’d seriously love to see a 10 hear for WWAE. Elephants is still such a banger.
did anyone listen to the drowned god album from a couple months back? saw them recommended a lot by smaller blogs I follow occasionally and am just checking it out now. more on the post-hardcore side than metalcore, but I feel like I could see people here enjoying them
didn’t realize the album was out, I liked the singles I heard, though.
its pretty decent. definitely along the lines of the singles
I love DGD but this is so funny
debut album by ex juneva members
Decided to go back to Alesana's The Emptiness for some good times, honestly that's still a really fun album. Probably still my favorite from them followed by Confessions
Stumbled on this band through recommendations, they're putting out their new album tomorrow
If you like metalcore and you're not listening to this Employed To Serve album then wtf are you doing with your life
Gave it a listen at work today. It’s class!
Shoutout to this genre having some of the best, and some of the worst, band names, song names, and album names ever.
Pretty excited for this
So, what are people's thoughts on Issues' new sound? I grew out of being a fan the style/genre that Woe, Is Me and their peers were getting big off of like 8 years ago, but recently had someone playing one of their two new songs near me and I said I dug it. Came to find out it was Issues, and had it explained to me that they were the band that came after WIM and all the drama that apparently ensued? Are these guys good dudes or just more metalcore shitbags? Cause the new stuff is cool, I think their vocalist has one of those weird niches where his delivery really sticks out and counteracts heavier rhythms well, and the bassist is having a lot of fun.
I tried checking out the earlier releases but SHEESH that was not pleasant.
