that's cool it's always nice a band that started as sort of generic risecore (no offense to them) can evolve from that. respect
This is what they sound like now (vocalist is the only OG member) I posted everything for their last album here Like Moths To Flames - The Cycle Of Trying To Cope (May 10, 2024) • forum.chorus.fm
As Everything Unfolds - Did You Ask to Be Set Free? (April 10, 2026) • forum.chorus.fm New single from As Everything Unfolds, along with an album announcement.
This is an insanely well mixed live session and a good interview to. The vocals especially sound monstrous.
Just got to their second EP and these slap heavily. I hear shades of Silent Planet, Erra and even Tesseract on the atmospheric clean guitar parts of the second song.
I had thought that this one was about Volumes as a band continuing to grind for their spot and how hard that's been (and I do still think this). However, when paired with California, which is about how much they love living in LA, Suffer On feels like it's about how resilient the people of LA are.
absolutely love that ep hell yes. the closer with marcus bridge is sick too, he had a lot of really cool features around that time between that, annisokay's smile, and in hearts wake's intrepid
Regarding Polaris, I didn't jive with much of the following albums, but perhaps some of the material will grow on me after a few more tries.
i like fatalism a lot but the other albums leave me a little cold. death of me has some really high peaks (namely the opening and closing duos) but also a lot that doesnt do much for me
Saw them this Sunday and they were great. The big thing för me tho was One Step Closer. Can't believe I've slept on them, they were so good.
