Balmora 100% Azashara as well. It’s the guitarist of Balmora on vocals and it’s essentially 7A7P worship in the best way possible. Since My Beloved broke up but went on to other bands. I don’t recommend them because they are horrible Nu Metal but Empty Shell Casing is worth a listen I guess.
The Coming Strife is a great label pushing a lot of that kind of stuff. If you're looking for something new in that vein, I've got a bunch of suggestions here - hope you find some gold!
The Misery Signal shirt is pretty on the nose. I love that this aesthetic is coming back. The sideburns, boot cut jeans, way too tight t-shirts. Amazing. annnnd pre-ordered
I’ve only seen a few folks on here mention Flood of Red and mannnn how did I go almost 15 years without them?? Like holy hell. As a hugeeee Secret & Whisper fanboy, Leaving Everything Behind touches that same emotional/atmospheric sweet spot for me. Every track is sooo tight. The tone, the layering, the vocals, everything. It’s wild they never took off more. What a band.
They deserved better. I might be wrong but I think they recently played an one off reunion show. Wish they did more
I remember replaying this video so many times. It felt like an eternity waiting for the studio version, which came out 3 years later
Granted, I haven't revisited their material in a while but this sounds nothing like their old stuff, there's not a single bit that would make me recognize them. Reuniting to put out generic BMTHcore makes me scratch my head a little bit. It's catchy at least I guess Gives me the same feeling as From First To Last's recent singles
