I would say The Satanic Satanist (which doesn't really sound like what the title might imply). But Evil Friends wouldn't be a bad choice either, and then just work backwards from there.
Pears and Peaches and Doctor Hippo Met for a drink in those marshmallow clouds Shout at pavement that’s sprouting up turnips And shouting right back, “We don’t need your lectures, We'll all live on. Live on, on, on. Live on."
I had no clue he was featured on that track. It's been a long time since I've listened to that record though.
Yep, he's also on the track before it. Waiter is actually still my favorite release of theirs, it's just so all over the place and diverse, but I still find it to work perfectly as a whole
I remember seeing Portugal back in '06 with Gatsbys, Forgive Durden, and Horse the Band. Nic came out and did his part on at least one of those songs. This was just the first non-instrumental part of that album that popped in my head.
Today on Facebook they had "8 years ago" and it was pictures from Bamboozle where Forgive Durden did Razia's Shadown with all the guests. John, Nic, Kris Anaya, and so many more people. Such a crazy good show
Didn't realize this was produced by Mike D of The Beastie Boys. Pretty interesting little article: Portugal. The Man: From Alaska to 'Woodstock' Description of the album that has probably been posted somewhere in this thread (but just in case)
New song is interesting . Weird that we've heard 3 out of 10 tracks... hope we get like a deluxe edition in the future
God damn all my favorite musicians decided to release something in the past 24 hours/this entire year
