new song out soon, "Cheer Up," on the soundtrack for Bright, which is either a movie or TV show on Netflix
Purchased this album the other day because it was available on pink vinyl, with proceeds going to help Aid breast cancer, and it was on sale at FYE. I had only heard Feel it Still from the album, but man I can’t stop listening to it now! Such a good record.
That was the only Portugal. The Man album I have ever even listened to in full, and I really enjoy it. Prior to this latest record, The Dead Dog was the jam for me, and I have no idea why I haven’t looked to check out more of their stuff. Great album though, surprised people don’t love it.
Check out The Satanic Satanist (my personal fav) and you'll see why people don't care for AG. It's seen as a b-sides album, but I still enjoy it haha
I'll never get over how crazy it is how big Feel It Still is, they just played the AMAs tonight and it was so weird/awesome to see
I hope they keep up the momentum. I'd hate for them to be a one hit wonder in the eye of the general public
The only obnoxious thing to me about their sudden fame is that it clouds their entire back catalog for the masses. Most people think "Feel It Still" is the 2017 version of "Pumped Up Kicks", when in reality most of PTM's music is heavily steeped in Zeppelin and Motown influences and most will never appreciate that
Shit version but it's worth it to see the guy at 0:54 dancing like he has absolutely no idea who or what he's listening to
Remember the band Anatomy of a Ghost? Haha, crazy listening to both bands knowing it's the same singer.

There's kids on my street who are constantly playing street hockey while singing "Thunder" and "Believer" by ID.
