I almost still feel like this is a cover song anyway from that Motown tune
Good for them though. Been battlers for a long time now

    That’s one hell of a stinky top20
Liam Payne with his Shaggy lite knock off
Sam Smith with amazing voice that I can’t stand to hear (it’s a strange juxtaposition)
And Taylor committing career suicide while completely not and still being popular.
Blown away by Thunder from ID still hanging around. I couldn’t believe my least fave single of theirs did so well

    Great Googly Moogly Supporter

Every year there's a foster the people song that gets the big push...

Although the fact that it's Portugal the man..a well established band that's been around for yearssss to all of a sudden make a big splash. Crazy.

    This song is everywhere

They seriously deserve it. Been working their asses off for over a decade and even longer than that with other bands/projects. I hope they experience Black Keys type of success.

Congrats to them, I just wish it didn't mean I have to hear it sooo much. I love the song but I definitely love it less after hearing it every single time the radio comes on. Again though, awesome for them, hope it helps them do big things.

    Good for them.
Solid dudes and they didn't really have to adjust their sound toooooo drastically to do this.*

    * To avoid crucifixtion, I want to point out that my point of comparison here is their LAST record. Not their first.

Evil Friends should have been an absolutely massive album

This is so crazy. These dudes are such a unique band and deserve everything. I was super into anatomy of a ghost back in the day and still remember them talking about changing up their style. And then hearing waiter you vultures for the first time and it just blowing my mind. If you haven't heard their first record do yourself a huge favor and give it a listen.

Anatomy of Ghost haha. Fucking rad. Waiter is so good. Gotta say Church Mouth has the most replay value for me. I really like Woodstock, obviously not as good as Evil Friends, but it is so fun to play at parties.

Last band I can remember that blew up out of nowhere after being around for a long time is Fun. (I'm considering the Format).
